Our Staff

Ms. Deb, our Founder and visionary who brought Roots Montessori from dream to a reality, holds her Masters in Social Work from University of Michigan.  After years of counseling children and families, and looking for a learning environment for her own family, she and her husband Mark started Roots Montessori.  The dream of a learning environment where kids can love learning, nurture their curiosity and foster their independence led her to create Roots Montessori.
